The Ridgefield Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend is a
four-day fall event in the culturally rich and scenic town of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Throughout the weekend, a tremendously talented lineup of jazz, funk, and blues artists will perform all over town, from an outdoor show at Ballard Park to regional powerhouse Ridgefield Playhouse. The Ridgefield Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend is Ridgefield's premiere event this September.
The Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend is a collaboration between the participating venues and the Ridgefield Economic & Community Development Commission.
Ridgefield sits on the western edge of Fairfield County, Connecticut, which, combined with neighboring Westchester County in New York, comprises one of the most affluent areas in America. This quintessential New England town has been listed among “America’s Best Main Streets” in Parade Magazine, the top five “Safest Towns in America,” and is “replete with sophisticated arts and cultural offerings,” says The New York Times. Ridgefield is home to well-educated, upscale, family-focused, and community-minded people.
